مطالعه مفاهیم مربوط به قدرت، سیاست، و نفوذ در سازمان یک موضوع مورد علاقه برای بیش از یک قرن شده است، تحقیقات به طور قابل توجهی در چند دهه گذشته گسترش یافته است. قدرت، سیاست، و نفوذ اساسی هستند، و به طور موثر در همه جا، اجزا زندگی سازمانی، خدمت برای کمک چگونگی عمل افراد در محیط خود و تعامل با افراد دیگر در سازمان توضیح میدهد. این مقاله به طور خلاصه دانش موجود از قدرت، سیاست، و نفوذ در سازمانها از طریق بحث در مورد کار اصلی در این مناطق پوشش میدهد. مناطق در حال ظهور از مطالعه و تحقیقات آتی نیز بحث شده است.

While the study of concepts related to power, politics, and influence in organizations has been a topic of interest for more than a century, research has expanded significantly over the past few decades. Power, politics, and influence are fundamental, and effectively ubiquitous, components of organizational life, serving to help explain how people act in their environment and interact with other people in the organization. This article briefly covers existing knowledge of power, politics, and influence in organizations through a discussion of original work in these areas. Emerging areas of study and future research are also discussed.
