  One of the legal issues in the Islamic family system is alimony. Alimony is a type of financial responsibility that is imposed on individuals under their own circumstances, even if the woman is financially able. The obligation of alimony on a man has various causes and reasons, which in a general view are: marriage, kinship and slavery. Perhaps it is more important to address the first reason that has become the focus of discussion and challenge today.
